PART TWO: BASIC ENERGY FIELDS

This exercise reveals just how far-reaching your energy body extends under normal conditions. With proper stimulation, these bodies can extend even further—we have no idea how far they can go.
EXPANDING ENERGY BODIES
Reset your box for the emotional body. Have your subject think of something dreadful that happened recently (preferably not your last practical joke that left them standing naked before a dozen people). Once they're genuinely upset, measure the astral body's distance. You'll find it significantly larger than when they were calm.
The same applies to the mental body. More energy equals larger bodies. Imagine crowded streets with physical bodies touching in unwanted places—then consider the continuous intermingling of energy bodies. This would terrify anyone about crowds, except for one fact: most people share so little commonality that their energy bodies can collide without the physical brain registering contact. When it does register, the result is extreme unease that can become claustrophobia. Some individuals are so sensitive they cannot sit near even close family without discomfort. This isn't cultural. Different societies have varying tolerance for closeness—Americans need more space than most, and this spatial need grows—but discomfort from energy body intermingling is different. It's not learned; it's instinctive.
INFLUENCING OTHERS
Given sufficient energy, anyone's energy field can influence another person. You've likely walked into a room where someone was absolutely furious (does anyone actually hop when mad?). The air pressure feels dramatically and unhealthily increased. What happened? The person's anger translated into marked increases in both size and power of their emotional body. You're feeling a psychic sensation, not physical—your brain translates it into the only response your nervous system handles. As mentioned, this body can expand to fill an entire house. Get absolutely furious, and you can make everyone in your home uncomfortable without leaving your room or saying a word. Great way to get rid of relatives.
MEASURING ENERGY LEVELS
Being able to measure these bodies—both spatial coverage and energy level—is useful. This is typically done with a pendulum and a 0-100 scale, but I've found a better method.
BUILDING YOUR ENERGY GAUGE
Print out the chart. Cut it out and glue it to poster board. Trim excess. Add an extra zero after each number except the rightmost 0, which you'll mark as 100. Now you have a 0-100 scale. Further divide space between each number with small hash marks marked 1-9. This creates an easy-to-read 0-100 scale. Punch a hole where all lines meet at the baseline. Cut a strip from leftover poster board, point both ends, punch a hole in one end, and fasten it to the scale with a paper fastener.
You now have your gauge.
Ready for another experiment? What do you mean, "No?"
This one's easier than the last—less work, no moving around, no danger of backing off front steps (nearly broke my neck that time!).
MEASURING ENERGY LEVELS
Find your subject again—probably hiding in a closet. This time, instead of measuring size, you'll measure energy amount. Have your subject hold the probe wire and take a rate for their aura. Set the gauge in front of you (no attachment needed) with pointer at 0. You shouldn't get a stick there—if you do, your subject is dead. You also won't likely get 100—that's theoretical maximum, and they may not still be human.
Begin measuring. Set pointer between 0-10 and ask if aura level is in that range. Don't expect a
stick yet—this is very low, and healthy subjects rarely read here. Repeat for each 10-point range until you get a stick, say between 60-70.
Set pointer at 63 and ask if measurement is between 60-65. No stick? Set at 68 and ask again.
Thumb stops. Set at 65 and move up one number until stick—say at 66. Your subject's aura is 66%
of theoretical maximum. By now you've realized all measurements are arbitrary, including rates. If you want to change the numbering system, go ahead.
Repeat for each body until you have measurements giving a good overall condition picture. For example, if someone's weak at mental body level, they might not be at peak thinking capacity that day rather than being stupid. With time and practice, you'll interpret findings more accurately.
WHY THIS MATTERS
How does this benefit you? I promised meditation and visualization information, then led you measuring energy fields and building gadgets. But you need these skills to measure your own progress. Working at visualization without knowing results is terribly frustrating.
MOLDING YOUR ETHERIC BODY
Now we'll teach you to mold your etheric body for various purposes. This isn't always easy. Some writers suggest visualizing while looking in mirrors—sounds good but very difficult. I tried for years without success. A better method: simply imagine yourself.
Think of your aura—that etheric part closest to your physical body. Try seeing it in your mind. Don't worry about color yet—just hold the image and know it's there. Expand your image to etheric level. Realize the etheric body is as much you as the physical and aura. Move awareness to mental body level—your thinking capacity and processes. Relatively little data stored here; most stays in physical brain, but data is accessed and used from here. Surprisingly few thoughtforms found in mental body—thoughtform production energies usually place them inastral body or aura. The mental body is cold—no emotion there. Return awareness to physical body. Feel its incredible solidity and rejoice. You're physical and spiritual—enjoy your physical presence.
That guided tour gives you feel for what I've discussed. Once you've looked into each body, you'll know what it does—and doesn't do.
MEASURING YOURSELF
Now repeat an experiment using yourself as subject. Take your photo, put it in sample can. Take rate for your aura. Set gauge at 0, begin stroking pad. Get distance when you stick. Repeat for each body until you have baseline measurements.
Go back to aura rate and measure each body's strength. Record these for baseline comparison. Reset machine for astral body. Begin meditating—while meditating, let memory wander to emotionally charged incident, preferably happy. Hold the memory, let it fill astral body's available space until emotional capacity seems dedicated to that moment. Return to earth, measure astral body's size and strength with gauge. Much larger figures for both, right?
WARNING
After this experiment, meditate again on something calming to be fit for human company. One warning: working with angry memories with a partner is bad idea. Built-up emotions can be strong and results dangerous to anyone else in the room. I once tried with a memory that made me absolutely furious—almost smashed furniture. Be careful! Some think we should all contact unpleasant memories and happily supply them if needed. But some memories should be repressed. Unless there's overwhelming reason not to, treat worst experiences as sleeping tigers—walk carefully around, never kick.
CONTROLLING EMOTIONAL OUTPUT
What you should learn: it's possible to control energy output from emotional body. This level is most responsive to such changes and has greatest impact on subjects you wish to influence. Despite mental level's more pervasive nature, motivating subjects by producing emotive responses is easier than trying to put ideas in their heads.
In my Psionics Club at https://vrilock.club, I've taught methods for influencing energy fields using eyebeam technique—focusing etheric body energy through eyes to target. Using astral body can achieve significant results without focusing on specific targets.
HARMLESS FUN
Now let's have some harmless fun (I know, out of character, but just this once...). This trick assumes you have self-control capacity, otherwise you might gain weight. Study yourself honestly. Can you get really hungry and hold off eating everything in sight, including neighbor's children? If yes, you'll have fun next restaurant visit. (And HOWIE! Skip this section!) Before entering, get yourself good and hungry—practically famished. So hungry that without consummate self-control, no one would have food left on their plates. Feel hunger gnawing at astral body, feel astral body expand as hunger energizes it. Let desire cause expansion until it fills entire room—but control yourself, don't mug the waiter. While waiting for your gargantuan repast (which you'll finish easily), focus thoughts on someone else's solar plexus in the room. Solar plexus is where emotional response is greatest—that's where "gut feeling" comes from. Know that person at other table is feeling desire and responding.
HARMONIC RESONANCE
Here's the old principle of harmonics. Remember high school physics with two tuning forks—one humming, one just held? The other began humming at same frequency, amazing the class. You're doing the same to your subject's astral body. Their emotions respond to your hunger. Soon they'll be absolutely ravenous—you'll know when they start devouring dinner rolls despite being four days old with little green and blue spots.
Work on subject number two, and soon the cook works overtime, management overjoyed seeing people enjoying food. Diners, happy with full bellies, reward waiters with extra tips—everyone happy.
COLOR IN ENERGY FIELDS
Another field aspect: color. Honestly, sometimes seems more trouble than worth—conflicting interpretations about color meanings in aura and rest of field. Color is just physical brain translating visible light frequencies. We could say field shows certain wavelengths, but that confuses more. Tempting to dismiss whole thing. However, color detection in etheric body—especially aura and astral body levels—can be greatly useful. Unfortunately, few have natural detection power, and that may be just as well. Those who do often find it makes lives more difficult. With psionics, no need to actually see colors. You can study aura and astral body with simple device: color disk.
BUILDING COLOR GAUGE
These disks can become complex—researchers tried using color to interpret everything from aura to minerals and elements. Be content with relatively simple one. Copy illustration or print separately. Make another pointer like your gauge. Cut poster board sheet typing-paper size, glue disk to it. Punch hole in disk center and pointer flat end. Attach pointer to disk with paper fastener—you now have color gauge. Each color has area—only so many colors, must fill whole disk. But advantage: closer pointer to color wedge center, purer the color. Important for detailed analysis.
COLOR MEANINGS
What do colors mean? Subject of controversy and serious hair-splitting—don't view my word as completely authoritative. Experiment yourself, see how your mind interprets. View here fits most cases.
Black: Not wished in analysis of someone you like, but nice to find in in-laws. Means deep malice, serious wound never healed. In in-laws, expect deep malice. Occasionally seen as slash across red background by panic-stricken clairvoyants—can denote great anger.
Red: Anger. Purer red, greater anger. Can also mean person given to sensuality—difficult for average clairvoyant to interpret, especially in potential bedmate. You can ask pendulum which it is.
Orange: Doesn't mean much unless subject from Northern Ireland, Florida juice seller, or paranoid nutcase on news holding duct tape. Strongly present means very well-balanced personality—may
also mean very bland personality. Associated with vital force flow from spleen chakra—may mean
good health.
Yellow: Usually good color, unless European diplomat (easily recognized by yellow stripes down backs). Means subject is smart. Some say lots of yellow means highly spiritual nature—may be bad thing, such folks often so heavenly minded they're no earthly good. Difficult determination—judge by individual behavior. Spiritual person rarely beats wife outside bedroom/dungeon or children ever, regardless of platitudes. Person with highly developed intellect cannot help but show it.
Green: Hard color to figure. May mean anything from cleverness to avarice—both very good
things.
Blue: Relatively easy. Almost always means tendency toward mental rather than physical activity. Chess master has more blue in aura than basketball player, generally.
Indigo: Usually mistaken for blue or violet—presence can modify qualities of either. Never found in basketball players. Those emphasizing spiritual over mental think indigo means transition between two—they also eat tofu, can't take too seriously.
Violet: Almost entirely spiritual color—those who have it usually so heavenly minded martyrdom too good for them, self-righteous bores. Fortunately very rare to find anyone with this color in great proportion.
White: Don't expect to find any. Almost never present in aura or astral body.
Gray: Watch out. Taxes might get raised (sorry). Gray is bad color—tends to bring out worst aspects of all other colors.
PRACTICAL APPLICATION
Now that you understand color meanings, do some research. Beginning psychology students sometimes write "psychological profiles"—analyzing behavior and possible motivations. (Would love someone do that with me and watch them turn pale and flee!) Pick someone you know well enough to study without their knowing, write such profile. Consider everything—intelligence, strengths and weaknesses (often same thing in different contexts).
Acquire witness sample—easy if you know them well. Set up machine, take rate for aura. Place color gauge and number gauge in front, begin looking at colors. Place pointer on each color, ask stick pad if color present in subject's aura. Write each color giving positive stick.
Once you have color list, write "%" next to "color"—second column. Set color dial at each color you got stick for, ask numerical gauge what percent of aura taken up by that color. Don't be disturbed if numbers don't add to exactly 100%—constant fluctuation in astral body between readings, relative percentages change. You'll get good working approximation.
Do last part—set pointer on color disk at first color. Write "intensity" as third column. Take numerical reading for each color—0 total lack, 100 makes aura glow in dark.
EXAMPLE ANALYSIS
From chart you created, you can see right away my friend Joe has problem. Only ten percent black, but intensity 30—some deep hurt still gnawing. Combine with gray presence—person can be quite unhappy at times. Joe's profile says given to fits of melancholy almost becoming depression—thatfits. Notice red only 25 percent, yellow and blue add to 45 percent. Combined with far greater intensity of blue and yellow over red means Joe much more mental than physical type. Doesn't now and never has played basketball. Joe is sensible person with little time for spiritual nonsense—can reasonably assume both yellow and blue mean mental nature. Balancing factor of orange mere five percent—Joe has small grasp on problems but combination of others means probably feeding misery by thinking too much. From profile, Joe is decent person who rarely inflicts troubles on others—keeping fury bottled up. Not dangerous presently, but significant increase in gray or black could mean explosion imminent. Watch out if financial reversal.
NEXT STEPS
Now you've seen how it's done. Repeat procedure, first setting radionic box for subject's astral body. This gives idea of emotional makeup. After finishing, study chart and compare with profile data—very important, prevents embarrassing mistakes.
