Metaphysics take paradoxical turns, disrupting the notion of conventional practices. Though materialists will say that metaphysics is at worst merely poetic and at best nonsensical, the order upon which reality is constructed in our minds is far from incoherent. It is merely that a metalanguage is needed to express the ordinarily undefinable.
